In the early-eighties BMX was my life, and seeing these guys again brings a tear to the old glass eye. Days saving up for BMX Plus!, lusting after a pair of chequered Vans, Mushroom grips, Skyway Tuffs (w/coaster break of course), Bar Hops, Half-pipes, Bear Traps (still have the scars), laid-back seat posts, whitewall tyres, painting my bike green, T-Bars, and the thrill of going to see BMX Bandits at the cinema (and being a bit disappointed with it), cycling the 7 miles to the Northallerton track, and all the hours spent down the tennis courts at Bedale School...good times! The original 80's Haro team in full effect! Introducing: Ron Wilkerson, Brian Blyther, Dave Nourie, Mat Hoffman, Kevin Martin and a grey haired Bob Haro (legend)! Amazing...
