Image 17/E17 Art Trail–

Nicky & I went to a really good group photography show at Crawfords Glassworks (15 Hoe Street, E17) on Saturday evening by a collective called Image 17. The show called 'Meet' (part of the E17 Art Trail) which documents the plethora of local leisure and social groups within the Borough. The group includes photographers Claire Byrne, Udall Evans, Martin Godfrey, Dan Green, Katherine Green, Paul Greenleaf, Joanna Hudson, Rachel I'Anson, James McCauley, Sean Pines, Jo Sealy, Paula Smith, Nicola Tree, Paul Tucker and Simon Warren.

The project aims to bring to light and record the rich, diverse and interesting hobbies and activities which bond communities and friendships and, sets out to celebrate and create a record of local people and communities in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.

If you live in the area (or not), it's really worth visiting. It's nice to see the creative community in Walthamstow putting on a great show. It's open on Sat/Sun 12/13 September. Support your local community by popping along...
